The rise in PMDD diagnoses is astronomical. Awareness is growing but treatment options remain shockingly limited. Western Medicine often offers hormonal birth control, antidepressants or even surgery as the only paths forward—leaving you feeling hopeless, like PMDD is just something you have to endure for life.
But I know that’s simply not true.

Throughout history, women’s experiences with their bodies have been dismissed, pathologised and controlled. In the 18th and 19th centuries, "hysteria" was a common diagnosis for women who didn’t fit the mold of what society expected—leading to institutionalisation, medical experimentation and forced hysterectomies.
That misogyny hasn’t disappeared—it has simply evolved. Today, our cyclical experiences are labeled as disorders. We’re told our emotions are too much, that we need fixing, that our pain is ours to bear rather than something shaped by the world around us.

This course is for anyone who identifies with the symptoms and experiences of PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder), whether you have received a diagnosis or not. I particularly focus on the experiences of PMS (Premenstrual Syndrome) and PMDD in this programme, however, it is also relevant and beneficial for people with other menstrual health challenges, such as PCOS, Endometriosis and period pain.
Protecting My Deepest Desires is a radical and refreshing space that validates your lived experiences of PMDD and/or difficult periods — not as something to fix or fight, but as something deeply worthy of understanding and care. This programme invites you to explore an alternative perspective: that PMDD or challenging periods aren't just a burden, but a potential portal to your most expressive, creative and powerful self.

While medical treatments like hormonal birth control or antidepressants focus on symptom management, this programme offers a holistic (whole-body) approach. This programme emphasises personal empowerment, self-awareness and community support to address the more emotional and spiritual aspects of PMDD and challenging periods.
Absolutely. While hormonal contraception may alter or suppress your natural menstrual cycle, many people on the pill still experience emotional and physical shifts throughout the month — including PMDD symptoms. This programme isn’t just about tracking ovulation or periods; it’s about building a deeper relationship with your body, developing emotional awareness tools and creating space for you, regardless of where you are hormonally. You’re very welcome here, and the practices are adaptable to your unique experience.
Every week for 5 weeks, we meet on Zoom for live sessions. The programme includes weekly group workshops focussing on different themes related to PMDD, menstrual cycles and womb connection. Each session combines educational content, practical exercises and group discussions to foster learning and awareness. If you can't attend a live session, these will be recorded and made available for you to watch back in your own time. In Between live sessions, you will have access to a group message portal where you can receive audio trainings, energy transmissions and take part in a community chat.
That’s totally okay! Protecting My Deepest Desires is an evolving, growing programme that I plan to keep running and developing for the foreseeable future—so there will definitely be more cohorts soon.
